We are pleased to announce Dunster House Opera's 2015 production:
Hansel and Gretel
Music by Engelbert Humperdinck
Libretto by Adelheid Wette
When Hansel and Gretel are sent to the forest by their mother to pick strawberries, little do they know that they are about to enter the haunted world of witches and fairies. With music by Engelbert Humperdinck and libretto by Adelheid Wette, “Hansel and Gretel” revisits the fairytale in its traditional setting. Follow the breadcrumbs (but don’t eat the candy!) to join the Dunster House Opera for a rendition of this classic opera sung in English.
